Preparing for the Future during and after Times of Disruption

Natasha Preocanin, Managing Director from In-house Recruitment interviews Della Rath from Aon’s Assessment Solutions about the challenges that talent acquisition professionals are currently facing during these times of change.

While organizations are currently in a period of disruption and uncertainty, Della suggests that HR and talent acquisition professionals need to start to prepare for coming out of this phase but to recognize that change will be a permanent feature.

She explains that organizations need to focus on what is required from the workforce now and in the future and to encourage the workforce to be agile, prepared for change, develop an intellectual curiosity with regard to the bigger picture and to be open to learning new skills and competencies.
Technology is changing the roles that we do now and it will continue to shape the jobs of the further. To prepare, organizations can make sure that they are assessing their workforce and the skills they have, and to identify any gaps between these and what is needed going forward.
