Situation
A leading U.S. brewer was looking to replace its telephone-based assessment
system with a more modern tool. The decade-old system was not providing a
realistic preview of job expectations for candidates and HR administrators found
the tool to be cumbersome to administrate.
Challenge
The company needed to transition to a modern, web-based assessment platform.
The solution needed to be streamlined, time-efficient, and offer an interactive applicant
experience that provided a realistic preview of the look and feel of the position, as well
as represented the brand in a positive light. Additionally, they were looking for a tool
that would accurately recommend the best candidates by measuring aspects critical for
on-the-job performance.
After a robust fact-finding and discussion phase,
the company opted for a unique approach –
a simulation-based system that would leverage
computer-adapted testing (CAT) technology.
