And the process of rethinking rewards to attract digital talent means: • Identifying the skills and the jobs needed • Deciding how to pay key talent based on market expectations • Reimagining the rewards framework to pay them appropriately. Instead of just throwing money at the tech talent problem, companies need to elevate rewards and recognition programs that highlight and amplify the benefits of their unique employee experience, and then take it a step further to emphasize the importance of the organization, the team and the work in terms of attracting and retaining key tech talent. To face the challenges of digital convergence effectively, companies fundamentally need to get the employee experience right. Only then will they be able to compete for — and win over — the talent they need to create the workforce of the future.
