The compensation featured in those stories comes from proxies representing pay decisions made primarily in 2016, not 2017. This report is a "first look" at 2017 CEO pay using a snapshot of the data that will be made available from Aon Hewitt's Total Compensation Measurement Survey® (TCM) starting on July 31, 2017. This analysis captures the change in pay for incumbent CEOs from the 150 organizations that have participated in the survey in both 2016 and 2017.
