A bespoke travel firm realized that it needed to update and streamline the recruiting process of its country specialists. Time-saving and candidate-engaging video assessment was built into the process, together with a more structured and focused face-to-face interview approach.
The business impact study conducted as part of the design process, showed that, by hiring strong-fit rather than low-fit candidates, the business could expect to realize:
- 41% more bookings
- A 46% higher conversion rate from enquiry to booking
- 15% stronger customer satisfaction.
Based on current applicant levels, the travel firm calculated that the new application and assessment approach could save 162 days per year of its recruiting time.
